Do you have a desire to meet new friends?
Develop your skills, talents, enjoy life and serve your community?
Then read on…The Chatsworth Women's Club may be your answer
This is a social philanthropic organization and our goals are to:
- Promote the general advancement and betterment of the community, the club, and most importantly, the individual, through the promotion of friendship, civic and educational achievement
- Promote goodwill and friendship
We are a civic, nonpartisan, nonsectarian group. Our goals include the welfare of women and children, service to veterans, education, community improvement, literature, and art.
- Support the General Federation of Women's Clubs
The Chatsworth Women's Club was Federated in 1921, as a part of the General Federation of Women's Clubs which has branches in Europe, South America, Asia, and every state in the U.S.A. Our clubs outreach through Federation is responsible for 75% of the nation's libraries and we have been instrumental in the passage of conservation issues, as well as child labor laws.
Club activities and projects are as varied as our members.
Each month, interested members gather to enjoy scheduled entertainment, share community activities, and social time including a luncheon.
Our members grow by working together toward these common goals. We share ideas and make friends as we make a difference in our community.
To earn the money we give to Club philanthropies we sponsor book sales, raffles and Bingo. We accept all donations to benefit the club. Members log thousands of volunteer hours in support of non-profit and civic organizations throughout the metropolitan area.
Our Chatsworth Women’s Club meets the fourth Tuesday of each month for a business meeting, luncheon and a program. Programs are planned to cover a wide spectrum of ideas, interests & information.
As a member, how will you be informed of all of our activities?
